Insuradar: A Genie from the Insurance Lamp

Mukesh Pilania, CEO, InsuradarMukesh Pilania, CEO
In the highly competitive insurance industry, companies are increasingly focusing on employing a digital-first business model to streamline their operations and stay ahead in the curve. The growing demand for a unified and smart management platform prompts both existing and emerging players to adopt innovative technologies and solutions that can drive efficiency, improve user experience, and boost customer retention. Their search for such a solution ends in SmartGenie, the powerful and intelligent insurance management application from Insuradar. SmartGenie is demystifying the insurance industry through its unified and holistic platform that allows consumers to self-manage their insurance portfolios from anywhere.

Available on both Play Store and App Store, the SmartGenie application can assist clients in managing the existing or new insurance policies in a simple, secure, convenient, and affordable manner. “SmartGenie offers an easy and secure solution for customers to buy or renew their insurance policies online from both mobile and web platforms,” states Mukesh Pilania, the CEO of Insuradar. By automating the distribution and comparing insurance quotes from multiple insurers, SmartGenie simplifies the management, payment, and renewal of insurance policies for clients in a faster way.

One of the very first applications to offer an Insurance Vault, SmartGenie drives value for customers and generates higher revenue for insurers in both B2B2C and B2C categories. Clients can securely store their data on any existing policies in the online vault by uploading pictures or files or by typing in the information manually.

“We lay a strong emphasis on protecting the customer’s privacy through our bank-level security standards such as secure socket layer (SSL), 256-bit encryption, two-factor authentication, and web application firewall to keep the user information safe and secure,” adds Rajeev Nair, the CSO at Insuradar.

Powered by its intelligent AI and machine learning algorithms, SmartGenie can consolidate all user information into an easy and simple dashboard, such that customers can always keep track of their insurance policies, at any time, from anywhere. Its sophisticated image reading engine identifies and recognizes data from required fields automatically, thereby sparing the user from the cumbersome manual filling of policy details. “The information gathered from the images is run through machine learning algorithms to further improve the accuracy of variable data fields including name, address, coverage amount, premium amount, payment frequency, and more. This enables the customers or partner agents of insurance companies to upload and manage their policies quickly and easily,” explains Sudhakar Kondisetty, the CTO of Insuradar. Apart from this, SmartGenie’s advanced chatbots can interact with the users to resolve their basic queries and issues related to insurance or other SmartGenie services.

SmartGenie is uniquely positioned in the market as a binding force that holds together insurance companies, partner agents, and customers, ushering in a whole new business ecosystem that fosters digital onboarding of customers. This also allows the partner agents of insurance companies to log in, buy policies for their customers online, and proactively manage their commissions. “SmartGenie’s RPA integration automates business operations to drive the efficiency and speed of processing along with identifying the trends in data through predictive analytics,” says Vincent Leo, Head of Automation, Insuradar.

Insuradar is at the forefront of this new digital insurance era in Asia and aims to expand its solutions in the Asian markets. Besides, the company also plans to launch a web-based application to further enhance its offerings in the near future. Insuradar also looks forward to promoting localization in the industry by integrating various local languages into its solutions to obtain integral partnerships with the numerous regional Insurance companies.
